About us

Soul Fire began as a small community group in 2018 using 20 acres of woodland at Blwch Gwynt Farm near Meidrim. Following some trials of different activities, plenty of research and previous involvement with a charity that ran an out door centre, it had become clear that there is something important about taking people out into the great outdoors and all the benefits the natural environment can bring.
Towards the end of 2019 Soul Fire became a Community Interest Company and is now beginning to offer various activities and outdoor experiences to benefit as many people as possible and use the experiences we have had to make a difference.

We can now offer.

Breathe events, time to rest in the woodland

Bush craft, woodcraft and experiments with ancient and indigenous building methods

Drum circle and music in the woods

Fire making and outdoor cooking sessions

Forest school

Lads and dads events

Team building sessions

Tent tool coaching and mentoring

Transient art, and creativity using a wide varieties of materials

Walk and talk meet ups

Wild camping experiences

Wolf tracks story telling

Woodland management plan and creation of areas to benefit biodiversity

WHAT WE DO

At Soul Fire we love getting outside into the great outdoors and helping other people to do the same. Just being in nature has so many benefits for people and when we add to that with various ways of input, it can be a catalyst for personal growth.

'Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.'

Robert Frost

'I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived'

Henry David Thoreau

'The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quite alone with the heavens, nature and God'

Anne Frank
